These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of miniakihabarashop.com (the "Site") and to purchases from Mini Akihabara ("we", "us"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. About us

Mini Akihabara is an online shop that sells Japanese products — anime collectibles, figures, plush, planners, stationery and more — to customers overseas. All products are sourced in Japan and shipped from Japan.

Mini Akihabara is operated by Take-one Technology HK Limited (泰可科技(香港)有限公司), Hong Kong Business Registration No. 72291209, registered address Flat/Rm 30619, 3/F, Lane Up, No.4 Kin Fat Lane, Tuen Mun, NT, Hong Kong.

2. Products and descriptions

  • We describe each item, its condition and its contents as accurately as we can on its product page. Please read the description, condition notes and photos before buying.
  • Some photos are official product images supplied by the manufacturer; where this is the case, the product page says so. Colours may look slightly different on different screens.
  • Items marked pre-owned / used are sold in the condition described and shown, including any wear or defects listed on the product page.
  • Lottery prize items (such as Ichiban Kuji prizes) are genuine prizes resold by us; they are not sold by the original manufacturer.
  • Product names, characters and brands belong to their respective owners. We are an independent retailer and are not affiliated with or endorsed by the manufacturers or rights holders unless stated.

3. Prices and payment

  • Prices on the Site are shown in US dollars (USD) and include shipping to the US and US import duties and taxes (free shipping, duties included — nothing to pay on delivery).
  • Payment is taken through Shopify Checkout. The total you see at checkout — the item price, with free shipping and duties included, and any amount converted by Shopify or your card issuer — is the amount you pay. Your card issuer may apply its own currency-conversion fees.
  • We may change prices at any time, but a change does not affect an order that has already been placed.

4. Orders and availability

  • Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email.
  • Many items are single or limited stock, and some are sourced in Japan after you order. If we cannot supply an item, we will cancel it and refund the full amount paid for it within a few business days (see our Refund Policy).
  • If there is an obvious pricing or listing error, we may cancel the affected item and refund you in full.
  • You may cancel an order before it ships for a full refund (see our Refund Policy).

5. Shipping, duties and delivery

Shipping, handling times, import duties and delivery are described in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. For US orders, import duties, taxes and customs fees are included in our prices and prepaid by us — nothing to pay on delivery.

6. Returns and refunds

Returns, refunds and cancellations are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Use of the Site

You agree not to misuse the Site — for example by attempting to interfere with its operation, using it for fraud, or copying its content for commercial use without our permission.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be excluded.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any order are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not affect any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on the Site at the time of your order applies to that order.
